Organizers of an anti-abortion campaign have hit the road with their message.

The "Reproductive Choice Campaign" will be visiting towns and cities in Southern Alberta over the next week.

As part of the campaign, organizers will travel in a truck carrying an 11-metre-tall  billboard displaying a graphic picture of an aborted fetus.

"Abortion advocates like to talk about abortion in terms of 'reproductive freedom' and 'a woman's right to choose,' " said Stephanie Gray, executive director and co-founder of CCBR. "This language covers up what abortion is, namely, an act of violence that kills a baby. We call this project the 'Reproductive Choice Campaign ' precisely because we want people to see what this 'choice' actually looks like."

Members of the group will also be walking beside the truck, holding pictures and answering any questions people might have.

Meanwhile, the Kensington Clinic is reacting to news of the traveling billboards.

The clinic has been offering pro-choice options for women since 1991, including abortion.

The Executive Director tells 660News they're not too concerned about the graphic signs.

Celia Posyniak tells 660News "no matter how shocking an image you produce, it's not going to change the circumstance of anyone's lives that may lead them to a serious personal decision of this nature."

Posyniak says similar campaigns have been launched in the past, however the abortion rate in Calgary hasn't declined.

Schedule for the Reproductive "Choice" Campaign:

June 7: Okotoks and High River
June 8: Nanton, Claresholm, Fort Macleod, Lethbridge
June 9 & 10: Lethbridge
June 11: Coaldale, Taber, Medicine Hat
June 11-14: Medicine Hat
June 14: Chestermere and Strathmore
