Gas Tax Honesty Day being held

Almost 25 cents of every dollar you pay for a litre of gas goes to the province and Ottawa.
Thursday is Tax Honesty Day. It's being held by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation to let drivers know just how much we pay at the pump in taxes.
660News spoke to several drivers at Calgary gas stations to find out if they were aware of how much fuel tax we pay.
Most were okay with what we pay in gas tax, as long as those pennies are being spent properly.
Many also said they felt lucky to be in Alberta, because we pay the lowest amount of fuel tax in the country.
