STARS called to Nakiska Ski Resort after boy falls

STARS air ambulance was called to the scene of an accident at the Nakiska ski hill Sunday afternoon.

They arrived shortly before 4 p.m. and found emergency crews attending to a child.

Cam Heke with STARS tells 660News it was a serious accident involving a 10-year-old boy who had fallen approximately 13 feet while he was skiing.

The boy was airlifted from the hill in stable condition and is being treated at the Children's Hospital in Calgary.
