Two men are in hospital with non-life threatening injures after an early morning shooting in the Forest Lawn area.
Police tape surrounded a strip mall near 17th Avenue and 52nd Street in the city's southeast for much of the day as officers combed the area for evidence.
Police say gunshots broke out during a fight at a large outdoor social gathering behind the strip mall.
One of the bullets hit a 25-year-old man.
Investigators believe a 21-year-old man then left the scene to go back to his vehicle when he crossed paths with a woman driving a vehicle. Police say she saw the gun, panicked and ran over him.
Duty Inspector Frank Reuser says officers believe they've found everyone involved.
Reuser says, "Four District GIU's in the process of interviewing numerous, numerous witnesses. We have both the suspect in custody in the hospital. As well as the victim. And we believe we've also located another person involved in the incident."
Charges are expected this week.
