Additional products have been added to the list of items voluntarily recalled by Siena Food Ltd.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume Siena brand Coppa and Siena brand Prosciuttini because they may be contaminated with Listeria.
The two products were sold in Alberta and Ontario, however, they may have been distributed nationally.
More information on the products:
1. Siena brand Coppa sold in variable weight packages weighing approximately 300-400 g bearing best before dates 10 JN21 or no date.
2. Siena brand Prosciuttini or Prosciuttini Hot sold in variable weight packages weighing approximately 300-400 g bearing best before dates 10 JN20, 10JN21, 10JN22.
The CFIA says they are aware of reported listeriosis illnesses in Ontario and is working with Health Authorities in Ontario in their investigation.
People most at risk for listeriosis include pregnant women, the elderly, infants and people with weakened immune systems.
