Calgary police are on the hunt for a suspect who allegedly tried to sexually assault a teenaged girl in the northeast.

The 14-year-old was walking in an alley in the 100 block of Whiteridge Place Wednesday morning, when a man started asking her personal questions and then grabbed her around the waist.

The girl fought the man off and ran away and called for help.

The suspect is described as between 18 to 20-years-old, with an olive-skin tone, five feet one inch tall, 110 pounds, with short, dark hair. He was wearing a white hoodie with small black designs and black-faded jeans.
