What do you get when you mix wagging tails, slobbery kisses and a little dog hair?
It's the first Alberta dog show of the year, hosted by the Alberta Kennel Club.
Corrie Horne, Public Relations Chair with the Kennel Club tells 660News about the canines in the events.
"We have nearly 500 dog competing each day for the coveted Best in Show prize and we have more than 100 dogs and their human companions strutting their stuff and competing in the Rally Obedience trials over the weekend"
The show continues Saturday and Sunday at the Big Four building on Stampede grounds, from 8:00am until 6:00pm both days.
Admission is $7.00 for adults, $3.00 for youth, and seniors and children (under the age of 12) are free.
There is also plenty of shopping at the show with a number of vendors who have everything you can think of for your four-legged friend at home.
