A 21-year old man from Bragg Creek has been charged with several drug offences involving the drug ecstasy.
Duty inspector Darren Leggatt tells 660News "James Wellesley Briscoe has been charged with two counts of drug trafficking of ecstasy, two counts of property obtained by crime, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking with respect to the products LSD and ecstasy and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose."
The drugs were worth around $2,000
Investigators are testing the ecstasy to see if it contains PMMA, a toxin thought to have killed seven others since July.
Briscoe will appear in court on Monday.
