Plain language household emergency action plan released

To coincide with family literacy day, the Calgary Emergency Management Agency has released a plain text brochure to provide information on how to protect Albertans in the event of an emergency.

According to Literacy Alberta, 40 per cent of adult Albertans over 25, and 60 per cent of seniors have difficulty understanding common documents.

The brochure provides clear and straight forward instructions in case of any household emergency.
