The former foster son of Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson has been arrested on gun and drug charges. He surrendered to police in Richmond this afternoon.

21-year-old Jinagh Navas-Rivas gave himself up just hours after another suspect in the case turned himself in. He's one of several people accused of being part of a dial-a-dope operation in Richmond.

RCMP Sgt. Peter Thiessen says a gun charge has been laid against Navas-Rivas as well.

"The investigation is far from complete at this particular point and we are confident there will be additional arrests of approximately two to three more suspects."

Navas-Rivas lived with Robertson's family for about two years. Robertson calls the case disappointing.

A second suspect in the case, Vinh David Le, gave himself up in Vancouver at the same time.
