A Calgary-based food blogger has created a new program to encourage university students to eat healthy.
Dan Clapson founded the initiative "Kick the KD", which will take 15 university students on a 10 week cooking program to explore all things culinary.
It will cover basic cooking skills, but also focus on how to take a quick and simple approach to creating healthy and delicious meals.
University students are encouraged to apply online at
www.dansgoodside.com before January 21st.
That's when 15 students will be selected to take part in the program which kicks off on February 10th. It will be hosted by the Calgary Co-op downtown market.
