Sandra’s love for the field of broadcasting was filtered through her love of sports. Her earliest and fondest memories of the sporting world include the '88 Olympic Games and the '89 Stanley Cup Flames win.

A born and raised Calgarian, Sandra graduated from the U of C with a degree in English. She then completed the post-degree journalism program at Mount Royal College.

She proudly cheers for her two countries of heritage, Canada and Croatia, in everything from hockey to tennis.
