A Canada Post mail carrier is being hunted by Swainson Hawks in the SW community of Bayview.

Delivery service has been halted because of the angry birds.

Man… I can feel her pain.

The hawks are apparently dive-bombing the carrier in Bayview as she tries to deliver letters and packages.

At one point… she started wearing a bicycle helmit… and the hawks broke it!

I had to deal with a similar situation last year.

I was swooped-at as I tried to get pictures of the hawks living in a tree outside the 660News newsroom.

For me… it was early in the summer… and the birds were protecting their eggs.

The good news for people living in Bayview is that the hawks should head south for winter very soon.

And they won’t be back from Argentina until spring.
