Good news about the weather.

I saw my first lemonade stand of the year this week.

And get this… the kids were selling lemonade while wearing toques!

I wish I had a camera.

The temperature was hovering right around the freezing mark and those kids were selling lemonade for 50-cents a glass.

Out of pity… I bought $2 worth.

I take the stand as a sign of summer.

The kids were outside, enjoying the sunshine, smiling (and shivering) as they poured their glasses of lemonade, and making good small talk with their only customer within sight.

Good for those kids.

Not only did they help quench my thirst… but they gave me hope that the weather may soon break.
