The hawk-watch is on in Calgary… as Canada Post resumes delivering mail to homes in the southwest community of Bayview this week.

Delivery was suspended… because some Swainson Hawks were dive-bombing a letter carrier.

At one point… she started wearing a bicycle helmit… and the hawks broke it!

Experts are hoping the hawks have flown south for the winter.

If not… the birds could still be protecting their nests as they feed for the long flight to Argentina.

If that’s the case, Canada Post will have to decide what to do.

Here’s hoping the birds have flown the coop.

The last thing anyone needs is a pair of angry hawks fighting for their turf.
