Police look for suspect in assault, robbery of senior

Police are looking for a suspect after a senior was robbed and assaulted outside a Calgary casino.
Around 9 p.m. Thursday, June 7, an 88-year-old man was leaving the Calgary Casino on Meridian Road NE., when he was approached by a woman trying to sell him gold jewellery.
When the man declined to buy it, the woman allegedly reached into the car and assaulted him, stealing a large sum of money before fleeing.
The suspect is described as nearly 6 feet tall, with a large build and black hair.
She was wearing blue flowy pants, a white polka-dot shirt, and a blue and white shawl.
Police believe she was accompanied by a man with a medium build and black hair, wearing blue jeans and a button-up shirt.
