Plane makes emergency landing at Calgary airport

A WestJet flight had to make an emergency landing at the Calgary International Airport Thursday morning, shortly after departing for Vancouver.

The airline says Flight 113 took off as planned at 6:30 a.m., but had to turn back after a pilot noticed a warning light about a fire in the cargo hold.

A spokesperson said the plane landed just fine, and all guests were transferred to another flight within an hour.

No one was hurt.

The plane is now out of commission for investigation.
