Event wants to build relationships, help with reconciliation

It’s an event that aims to build bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities towards reconciliation.
Wild Rose United Church and Colouring It Forward are hosting the Making It Right Relations Art Festival.
The United Church of Canada managed 13 residential schools years ago and today, Right Relations teams from various congregations are learning about the ongoing impacts on indigenous families.
At the festival, Colouring It Forward will launch the third book in a series of The Cree Nation Art & Wisdom colouring books.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 16 at Wild Rose United Church on 1 Street NW.
