Deadly weekend on southern Alberta highways

At least four people are dead after crashes on southern Alberta highways this weekend.

The latest crashes last night included one near Innisfail where two people on a motorcycle were killed when their bike collided with a pickup along Highway 590.

Both victims were in their 30s but it’s not known where they were from.

Another crash Saturday evening occurred on Highway 1A near Morley where one person died in a single vehicle incident.

On Friday night, one person was killed in a three vehicle crash northwest of Calgary, near Cremona.

RCMP now say that collision involved a pickup being driven erratically before colliding with a semi and a motorhome and another motorhome.

The 30-year-old driver of the pickup died at the scene.
