It begins Thursday evening, but anticipation for the #CalgaryExpo was loud early in the week.
Lou Ferrigno became an honourary Calgarian at a ceremony Wednesday, earning an official #whitehat and a green Calgary Tower tribute.
#CaptureCalgary also features a series of green-towered images, as @TourismCalgary received more #love with their so-titled online campaign. Other images and videos welcomed the annual river breakup.
And, Toronto fans may not have been leading the charge, but #StanleyCup was trending, Thursday, after the Maple Leafs were eliminated from the annual NHL tournament in a round-one game-seven loss to the Boston Bruins.
Wednesday’s final scored was 7-4, in favour of the Bruins.
