Calgary Transit users view BRT changes

Calgary Transit users got an up-close look at some of the changes coming to routes on the east-end of the city Tuesday night.
An open house was held to show riders what’s coming when three new BRT lines open up later this year, including a bus rapid transit route in Marlborough.
Spokesperson Michael Cox said they’re working to get the word out as best they can.
“Well a big part of the promotions that we do for the interaction on this is going to where the people are,” he said. “So we wanted to hear from university students so we were up at the University of Calgary on campus the last week before finals. We’re using targeted social as it goes towards the demographics to try and get students at SAIT as well.”
Open houses are also planned for later this week for the communities of Remington and Dover.
