WinSport officials have officially wrapped up the ski season at Canada Olympic Park and it was another banner year at the Olympic institution.
According to its figures, the hill saw a 53 per cent increase in attendance year-over-year with 180,000 visits.
Senior Manager of Communications Dale Oviatt tells 660 NEWS the summer fun will start on the May long weekend.
“You know we’ve got Zipline, Bobsleigh and a new activity called Free-Fall where you can fall eight stories, so we’re looking forward to that, and of course our friends at Skyline Luge will be open at the same time as well,” he said.
Oviatt is crediting a good helping of snow and winter-like conditions for the attendance spike.
