Semi-truck hits train north of Calgary

A collision between a grain truck and a train closed a highway north of Calgary on Wednesday morning.
At around 11 a.m., Beiseker RCMP responded to the crash at the railway crossing on Highway 575 near Township Road 243.
A semi, loaded with grain, struck the train causing a minor derailment but completely blocking the highway.
The driver of the semi was treated on scene for minor injuries and no injuries were reported.
Thick fog is believed to be a factor in the crash.
