Calgary police recover rare memorabilia

If your framed and autographed Gordie Howe jersey was stolen, you just might get it back.

Numerous memorabilia items are being displayed by Calgary police after being recovered during a raid on a home in the city’s southwest late last month.

The tactical unit arrested a suspect believed to be receiving stolen property in exchange for a variety of drugs including fentanyl and meth, which were also found at the house.

John Christopher Fraser, 43, faces a long list of charges.

Other items recovered include an autographed Tragically Hip picture, an autographed Sass Jordan electric guitar, vintage comic books, hockey cards and antique watches.

Police are hoping to identify the owners.

If anyone has had these items stolen, they are asked to call the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 and reference case #18090209.
