Calgary encouraged to observe Earth Hour

Calgarians are being urged to unplug this weekend and celebrate Earth Hour.

It takes place from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

There’s a family-friendly event on St. Patrick’s Island starting at 7 p.m., with fire pits, a dance party, craft activities, hot chocolate and more.
