Three people injured in NE single-vehicle crash

Three people were taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash in the city’s northeast.

Just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, a vehicle lost control and flipped, blocking the off-ramp from southbound Stoney Trail onto eastbound 16th Avenue.

Calgary EMS confirm, a woman in her 30s was sent to hospital with serious injuries, while a man in his 30s and a three-year-old boy were listed as stable.

The cause of the crash has not been released.

The area was shut down for over four hours, but it re-opened just after 11 p.m.
