Hitmen put Kootenay on ice with 3-2 win

It took more than 60 minutes, but the Calgary Hitmen found a way to win a close game with the rival Kootenay Ice.

Jakob Stukel, Riley Stotts and Jake Kryski found the back of the net in the shootout to secure the victory.

Mark Kastelic and Riley Stotts scored in regulation for the Hitmen, while Brett Davis and Alec Baer replied for the Ice.

The Hitmen will now take on the Edmonton Oil Kings in a home and home series on the weekend to close out the season.
