Calgarians frustrated with all the snow should hang on to those feelings until next year.
Ward 7 Coun. Druh Farrell said citizens need to keep the pressure on council when it comes to snow removal.
“Keep calling 311; it helps us build data at the very least, it’s helping us build data for next year and then remember this when we are setting our budget, our four-year budget next November.”
Farrell added Calgary has more slips and falls than just about any other place in Canada.
“And that isn’t acceptable, and for the elderly, a broken hip can have a life-altering impact,” she said. “We need to do better.”
