University of Calgary talk examines wrongful convictions

A man who was wrongfully convicted and spent two decades in prison will speak Tuesday at the University of Calgary.
The Faculty of Law is hosting ’20 Years On: a retrospective on wrongful convictions with David Milgaard.’
The panel discussion will focus on whether anything has changed in the past 25 years, since he was exonerated and how to move forward.
The event takes place from 12:15 to 2 p.m. in the Bennett Jones Lecture Theatre.
