Jonny Harris, Emma Hunter to host Canadian Screen Awards broadcast gala

TORONTO – Jonny Harris of “Murdoch Mysteries” and Emma Hunter of “The Beaverton” will co-host this year’s Canadian Screen Awards gala.
Harris is also known for his series “Still Standing” while Hunter’s other credits include “Mr. D.”
The CBC and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television will air the show on March 11.
The new production partner for the gala is Insight Production Company.
The gala will mark the end of Canadian Screen week, which will include three non-broadcast galas.
Hosts for those galas will include Miguel Rivas, Andrew Phung, Carlos Bustamante and “Mind Fudge”‘s Jon Simonassi and Justine Nelson.
