Airdrie man arrested in BC for firearms offence

A 26-year-old Airdrie man has been arrested in Burnaby B.C. after allegedly pointing a gun at another individual Sunday inside a local home.

According to Mounties the man fled the scene and a short time later returned to grab a number of long-barrel firearms before leaving town.

Constable Dan Martin says they also found a hockey bag inside the home containing a number of imitation firearms, ammunition, holsters and a pistol magazine.

“We received information he was in Burnaby B.C., the RCMP in Burnaby were contacted and were able to locate this male in the City of Burnaby.”

Cody Theodore Fowlie now facing several charges including assault, carless use of a firearm, and pointing a firearm.
