SCIENCE SHIP: Cold birds & a falling space station

Much like humans, when it gets cold in Canada, birds head south for some much needed warmth.

But unlike humans, birds that stay here in the winter don’t have warm houses and jackets to keep them cozy in freezing temperatures.

660’s Jonathan Muma hopped on board the Science Ship with Saint Mary’s University Astrophysicist Dr. Rob Thacker to find out how birds survive when it’s minus 40:

 

 

A Chinese space station is falling out of orbit and will crash into earth sometime in March.

But, where it will fall and how much of it will hit the earth isn’t known.
