Calgary Penguins will be out waddling again

Waddle, waddle, waddle.

That’s what the Calgary Zoo’s king penguins will have the chance to do, as of Wednesday.

Spokesperson Trish Exton-Parder said the daily penguin walk will return for another year.

It will run until the spring, but there are some restrictions that could prevent the visitor favourite walk.

“When it gets below minus 25, or it gets above five degrees,” Exton-Parder continued, “sometimes we do have to cancel if it’s either on the low end of the temperatures, or a little bit higher.”

This year, young Cleo may join the bunch for the royal waddle. She hatched in August, 2017 and still has her baby feathers.

The walks begin at 11 a.m. every day, and you can find more information on the Zoo’s website.
