Hitmen edge Saskatoon Blades

The Calgary Hitmen had six different players score as the team defeated the Saskatoon Blades 6-5 at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday night.

Vladislav Yeryomenko, Jakob Stukel, Hunter Campbell, Riley Stotts, Tristan Nielsen and Jake Kryski all tallied in the win.

The Blades received a pair of goals from Braylon Shmyr, while singles came off the sticks of Max Gerlach, Chase Wouters and Brandon Machado.

Calgary netminder Nick Schneider made 22 saves in the victory.

With the win, the Hitmen snapped a four-game losing skid.

Calgary is next home to the Kamloops Blazers on Friday.
