Young man faces charges in stranger sexual assault

Charges have been laid after a young employee at a Dairy Queen in northeast Calgary was sexually assaulted.

On Monday afternoon, the 16-year-old girl was cleaning a washroom in the restaurant on Centre Street North, when police say a man followed her, put his hand over her mouth and assaulted her.

The man ran off when a co-worker walked in.

23-year-old Colin Phillip Bull Shields, of no fixed address, is charged with forcible confinement and sexual assault.
