Suspect in custody after sex assault at N.E. restaurant

Police have arrested an individual, after a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in a northeast Dairy Queen washroom on Monday.
Officials say the incident occurred at the restaurant on Centre street around 5 p.m., when the girl, who worked at the Dairy Queen, was followed into the washroom to clean it. They say a man put his hand over the girl’s mouth and started touching her inappropriately.
She was able to loosen his grip and scream for help and the suspect fled the scene after a co-worker entered the bathroom.
Charges have not yet been laid.
