A candlelight vigil is planned Wednesday night for “baby Jane.”
Calgarians were supposed to gather at 7 p.m. last Saturday for a vigil for the newborn baby girl that was discovered dead on Christmas Eve.
However, organizer Dana Bramston postponed it because of the extremely cold weather.
Bramston told CityNews, people need to come together to support each other.
“Bring your hearts, your souls, and your kind words and your blessings, because Bowness has made it through the floods (and) this is another flood we need to make it through and make it a positive experience for all,” she said.
Early autopsy results suggested the baby may have been alive when she was left alone.
The vigil is being held at the City of Calgary Community Recycling Depot in Bowness at 7 p.m.
