Police search for vehicles involved in Auburn Bay shooting

We are learning more about a shooting in the community of Auburn Bay Monday night, that left one person injured.

Emergency crews were called to the 0 – 100 block of Auburn Meadows Garden S.E. just before 5 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

Police say it appears two men approached the victim as he parked his vehicle in an alley behind Auburn Meadows Garden and when he got out the three were involved in an altercation.

One of the suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle, a black 2012 Toyota Highlander, while the other in another vehicle, possibly green in colour.

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for the victim’s vehicle, which had the Alberta licence plate #BWX4030 attached at the time of the offence.

Investigators are still trying to determine a motive and descriptions of the suspects.
