The Calgary Hitmen are showing off a prestigious trophy on Thursday.
It’s part of the CHL’s 100th Memorial Cup Celebration Tour.
It was originally known as the OHA Memorial Cup and was donated by the Ontario Hockey Association in March 1919 to honour soldiers who died in the First World War.
In 2010, it was re-dedicated to all fallen Canadian military personnel.
The team, including some players, are holding an event Thursday morning at the Royal Canadian Legion on Kensington Road.
