Brawl sends one person to hospital

A man is in hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries after a fight involving several people at a Tim Horton’s in the southwest community of Somerset.
First responders were initially called to the restaurant on Shawville Boulevard on reports of a ‘medical collapse’ around 3:30 p.m.
When police arrived they found a fight was going on between several people, both inside and outside the restaurant.
Seargent Duane Lepchuk says they are now talking to a number of people who were there when the fight occurred.
“All subjects and witnesses were located and are with police now to determine what happened,” said Lepchuk.
The victim was rushed to Foothills Hospital.
