Two arrested in Tuxedo Park homicide

Two people have been arrested in connection with a homicide in Tuxedo Park earlier this year.

Charges are pending against the two who are now in police custody.

It all stems from the death of 44-year-old Timothy Albert Voytilla who was brought into the Peter Lougheed Centre on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

He had life-threatening injuries, which he later died of.

Investigators were led to believe by the person who brought him in that the injuries happened somewhere in Tuxedo near the intersection of 29 Avenue and 2 Street N.E.

Voytilla was believed to have been targetted, police don’t believe it was a random attack.

No names will be released by the Calgary Police until the charges have been sworn before a Justice of the Peace.
