A heartwarming tale on a cold morning.
A Calgary police officer happened to be in the right place at the right time to bring a life into the world.
Police say the officer was outside the Peter Lougheed Hospital at around 4 a.m. Thursday when he noticed a woman in labour.
He ran over to help and the baby was born before any doctors or nurses could make it outside to assist.
Everybody appeared to be happy and healthy shortly after the birth.
