Southern Alberta wildfire now under control

A blaze burning near Coleman Alberta in the Crowsnest pass area is no longer considered to be out of control.
Evacuation orders in the area have also been lifted and the wind warnings across the province are no longer in place.
Highway 3 has re-opened between Coleman and the B.C. border, although drivers should still be cautious while driving in the area.
The wildfire was one of many fueled earlier this week by high winds and dry conditions.
One fatality was confirmed on Wednesday. Firefighter James Hargrave passed away while battling a fire near the hamlet of Hilda, along the Alberta and Saskatchewan border.
Emergency declarations were lifted for Wheatland county and Medicine Hat on Wednesday.
Fourteen homes have been reported lost across the province, as well as a barn and a garage in Crowsnest Pass.
Investigators have also determined the Sharp Hill wildfire near Airdrie on Tuesday was caused by an improperly discarded cigarette, two homes were damaged.
