Online campaign to help car crash victims go back home

An online campaign is hoping to raise thousands of dollars for a family whose three children died in a crash Northeast of Calgary.

Last Wednesday, three children died when a semi-truck collided with an SUV at a highway intersection near Hanna.

Paramedics say two teens and an 11 month old baby were found dead on the scene.

According to a GoFundMe page, the parents who survived the crash are dealing with high costs to get themselves and their children back home to Seattle.

The goal of the campaign is to raise $20,000.

As of Sunday morning, about $5,000 had been raised.
