The body of a 43-year-old missing boater has been pulled from Sylvan Lake.
RCMP said his body was pulled from the water in central Alberta Saturday morning. The man was on a boat with two other adults and a 10-year-old last Sunday, when a storm caused their boat to capsize.
“With the assistance of the Sylvan Lake Fire Department he was recovered and identified and so we hope this provides just a little bit of closure for the families,” RCMP Cpl. Laurel Scott said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
