Charges laid in restaurant gun scare

Police have officially laid charges, after a man allegedly brandishing a paintball gun sent a group of Calgary McDonald’s customers into a panic.
More than 30 people pushed, screamed, and stepped on one another attempting to exit the restaurant inside the Marlborough Wal-Mart Wednesday night.
A Good Samaritan wrestled the weapon out of the man’s hand before police arrived.
When officers arrested the suspect they discovered a small quantity of drugs including crack cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin and pot.
Duran Ross Buffalo, 32, is charged with possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, use of imitation firearm during commission of offence and mischief.
He’s also facing four counts of drug possession.
