Baby and two children killed in crash near Hanna

An 11-month old baby, an 11-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were killed in a crash between a semi and a van east of Calgary.
The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway 570 near Hanna around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
EMS spokesperson Chris Kalyn tells 660 NEWS there were also two adults inside the van.
“We had a 44-year-old male and a 32-year-old female, the male was transported to the Brooks hospital in stable non-life threatening condition. The female was transported to Foothills Medical Centre by STARS, also in stable non-life threatening condition.”
The 54-year-old driver of the semi was taken to hospital in Hanna and was treated for minor injuries.
