If you plan on watching the Solar Eclipse through NASA certified solar-filtered eclipse shades, you want to make sure you’re getting the right thing.
The Better Business Bureau is putting out a warning to those looking to watch the event next week (Aug. 21st).
The Bureau cautions about scammer who are selling regular glasses and passing them off as NASA certified ones.
Many of the glasses found online may be counterfeit or don’t meet safety regulations.
The BBB says your best bet is to stick with a brand certified by NASA and sold by official retailers.
Here’s the list of North American retailers selling solar-filtered glasses:
7-Eleven
Best Buy
Bi-Mart
Casey’s General Store
Circle K
Hobby Town
Kirklands
Kroger
London Drugs
Love’s Travel Stops
