According to Indeed, it’s a number of things that include pay and benefits, work-life balance, workplace advancement, opportunities within the company, and management and culture. The online job resource has compiled its first list of ‘25 Best Places to Work in Canada.’

Managing Director with the Indeed Canada, Jodi Kasten, noted while national bank, RBC ranked as the number one employer, there were four Calgary-based companies in the top 25. “WestJet was number six on the list, and certainly that is no surprise because WestJet has a great reputation as an employer,” she told 660NEWS, “Enbridge also made the list, Shaw Communications and Husky Energy.”

With more than 600,000 company reviews in Canada, the overall employee experience ranked responses between June 2015 and May 2017.
