Albertans could get a better idea of how the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire fire was handled, Thursday morning.
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is expected to release a KPMG report.
The report will outline lessons learned from the massive May blaze, and lay out recommendations for improvements when it comes to future fires.
More than 88,000 people were forced to leave the northern Alberta city for several weeks, and the fire spread across almost 590,000 hectares.
The report will be released at the Jubilee Centre at 11:00 a.m., in Fort McMurray.
